Nevicata a TORINO del 13/01/1987 [Servizio TG3 Piemonte] by BIRCIDE (Il Paninaro)
We're not talking about Milan here, but rather my hometown, TURIN! This was a significant snowfall for the Piedmont capital, along with the one in 1985. It was January 13, 1987, when the city was brought to a standstill for several days. Over 70 cm of snow fell between Tuesday, January 13th and Thursday, January 15th. I often look back at these images and find it hard to believe, despite having experienced it firsthand. When I show these videos to my 12-year-old daughter, Clizia, she's incredulous, because she's never seen anything like it since she was born, except for a couple of occasional white flurries that lasted less than 24 hours.
