Though The Island Ascended was a technical marvel for those who first got to experience it, looking back in retrospect nearly two years after the game's launch, the Map has aged poorly. With its general consensus having since shifted from positive to overwhelmingly negative, Modder Nekatus has taken it upon himself to revisit The Island, in order to bring it more in-line with ARK Ascended’s most recent Map iterations.
