寺島しのぶ長男・眞秀くんが歌舞伎デビュー

A press conference was held for the Kabukiza's May performance, "Dangiku Festival May Grand Kabuki," attended by kabuki actors Onoe Kikugorou and Onoe Kikunosuke, as well as Kikugorou's grandson, Terashima Mahoro. Born to actress Terashima Shinobu and art director Laurent Gnacia, Mahoro is four years old and half Japanese and half French. He appeared at the venue holding his mother's hand and greeted the audience with a lively "I'm Terashima Mahoro. Nice to meet you." Mahoro, making his debut appearance at the performance, will play the role of sake shop apprentice Yokichi in the matinee performance of "Uoya Sogoro." He loves kabuki and has already memorized his lines, but when asked what he wants to be when he grows up, he put the audience at ease by saying "Kamen Rider."
