Usage of the UHD crop function in Panasonic PTZ cameras | How to – Videos

Dean Offord shows how to implement the UHD crop function on the Panasonic 4K PTZ cameras AW-UE100 and AW-UE150 in this episode of the “How To…” series of Panasonic Broadcast & ProAV. One of the key features of large single sensor camera technology is the ability to crop into an HD image during a live production environment or post production. This cropping function is unique to Panasonic 4K PTZ cameras. An operator can make use of the 3G-SDI output via the AW-RP150 remote controller to create up to three different HD cropping points as preset. The 4K wide angle image can also be captured simultaneously via 12G or HDMI output. In addition, NDI cropping is also available.
