Sailing the Devils Backbone Solo (No Pilot!)

After an epic stay in Spanish Wells, Eleuthera, I had to get Amanda to the ferry in Harbour Island for her flight out of North Eleuthera. But the only way there is through the Devils Backbone, a reef so notorious it’s been claiming ships for centuries. This maze of skinny water is actually where the first settlers shipwrecked back in 1648. About 70 survivors ended up living in Preacher's Cave for two years just to stay alive (the same cave we explored in the last video!). To avoid our own disaster, we called a local pilot to lead my Island Packet 32 through the coral. But for the return trip...
