OUR DAY TRIP TO PINGTUNG, 屏東市! LOCAL TRAIN | TAIWAN'S FIRST CACAO GROWER| AMAZING SUSPENSION BRIDGE

In episode 36, we decide to go on a day trip to neighboring Pingtung (屏東市), an off-the-beaten-track laid-back charming weekend get-away. We take a cab ride up into the mountains to check out the Shan Chuan Glass Suspension bridge, one of the longest in Taiwan! Then we explore Taiwan's very first cacao farm, where we get to taste some fresh cacao right off the tree at Choose Chius Chocolate! After some wandering, we stumble into a tiny town for a glimpse of traditional village life. Lastly, we head for Pingtung City's bustling night market, where Gabe eats some fresh street-side sashimi! *Note: after some more research, it turns out that the Shan Chuan suspension bridge is not the longest in Taiwan, as we claimed in the video.
