Confit d'ail - Julie Cuisine

Preparation time: 5 minutes Cooking time: 3 x 3 minutes Serves 1 jar A recipe to keep safe for those of your friends who are wary of the strong and persistent flavor of garlic. Add it to gratins, soups, or vinaigrettes (Caesar salad is a must!). Ingredients: 3 heads of garlic 1 or 2 tablespoons of single cream Heat a pot of water. Separate the garlic cloves and immerse them in their skins (with the skin on) in boiling water. Cook for 3 minutes. Drain and refresh them by immersing them in a bowl of cold water. Repeat this process 3 times, changing the cooking water each time, then peel the garlic cloves. Place the drained cloves in a blender bowl. Blend until smooth, adding 1 or 2 tablespoons of cream, depending on the desired consistency. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month, covered with a light layer of oil.
