Neuroscience and the Mozart Effect with Natalie Erlich-Malona
Natalia Erlich-Malona is a board-certified epileptologist and neurologist practicing at UMass Memorial Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Neurology at UMass Chan Medical School. She received her MD degree at Tufts University School of Medicine and completed residency training in Neurology as well as fellowship training in Epilepsy at Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. She has given lectures on the Mozart Effect in Epilepsy at UMass, Brown and the Epilepsy Foundation of New England. Prior to pursuing a career in medicine she was a professional pianist, having trained at the Juilliard School and the New England Conservatory in Music, and holding a BM and an MM in Piano Performance from the latter. She lives in Providence, RI with her husband, two small children, her Steinway grand piano and a harpsicord.
