More stories and news: https://www.mothergrid.de/ This summer, the Beatsteaks played their very first concert at the Waldbühne Berlin – and, as usual, they rocked it. The Beatsteaks are known as an excellent live band, but their premiere at the venerable Waldbühne Berlin gave the audience a little extra energy. And when Die Ärzte took the stage as surprise guests for three songs, there was no stopping them. The sound system used was a Martin Audio MLA, supplied by Complete Audio in Berlin. Front of house man Tom Körbler mixes the sound with an analog Midas console and also tells us in the video how he feels about digital mixers. For microphones, he has relied primarily on Shure for years, with a little Sennheiser on the drums. System technician Benny Franke, like Tom, has been working with the Beatsteaks and the Martin Audio MLA for a long time. He tells us how to set up the system correctly and what to consider.
