Velankanni Basilica Shrine Part - 2 We travel to Valenkanni Basilica through Chennai in January '2026 for keeping our family prayer. It was a 3days trip from Kolkata. We took flight to Chennai and then by Car on road to Valenkanni. It took 8hours almost to reach the destination. You can go by Train and then Bus also. All the buses leaves the terminal afternoon time. We stayed in Peter's Inn for 2 nights. I've booked the hotel online only. It was a memorable experience for us and would like to visit again and again. You all can travel by Train to Chennai and then you can Book a Car or by Bus to direct to the place. Train and Flight details with timings are available in Google.
