EL DINERO Y EL CAMINO DEL DESARROLLO ESPIRITUAL con José Lorenzo del @CírculoReparador

There are two opposing viewpoints regarding the topic of "Money and the Path of Spiritual Development." The first relies on suffering and limitation as a means of atonement, while the second suggests that only through wealth can one demonstrate a profound connection with God, due to what is displayed outwardly. In either case, both are based on a belief in separation and insufficiency, since for God, our worth as His children does not depend on sacrifices or anything external. Discover in this program with facilitator José Lorenzo Rodríguez of the Reparative Circle a third perspective proposed by A Course in Miracles regarding the view of money and material wealth. Living a spiritual path in a sober way means traveling along a central path that avoids the two cultural and spiritual extremes regarding money. José Lorenzo explains that sobriety does not refer to being gloomy or serious, but rather to not wavering between opposing views. The fundamental aspects of this way of life include: 📌Avoiding extremes: Money is not seen as inherently evil and corrupting (a view of sacrifice), nor is material abundance seen as the sole proof of connection with God (the prosperity gospel). 📌Recognizing the neutrality of money: Money is understood as nothing; on its own, it has no power to make you happy, unhappy, or corrupt you. Suffering arises solely from the meaning the mind assigns to it. 📌Accepting the needs of the world: A sober path does not deny the reality that, while living in this world, money is a necessary means of existence. Therefore, total detachment through sacrifice is not sought, since God does not ask for suffering. 📌Prioritizing the spiritual goal: Instead of striving to acquire money or fleeing from it, the focus is solely on seeking God and helping others. 📌Trust in Provision: Living with the conviction that everything materially needed to fulfill one's spiritual mission will be effortlessly provided by God, as a natural result of dedicating oneself to giving. In short, spiritual sobriety is a state of balance and centeredness where money is used as a temporary instrument in the process of returning to God, without making it an idol or an obstacle.
