Why I choose Ableton Link instead of MIDI
When synching up apps like Koala, Synth One, Fugue Machine, and Korg Gadget, Ableton Link is way easier than using MIDI. Ableton Link is not a part of Live (although it works with it), it's a standard that Ableton provide to a[[ developers to allow them to sync up wirelessly. Any compatible apps on the same WiFi network can use Ableton Link to sync BPM, phrase and bar. Not paid content. Check my subscriber count- no-one's going to pay for that! :-)
