In the heart of Gaza, our cameras followed Jibril, Rami, and Mahmoud, three Gazans trying to survive the genocide perpetrated by Israel. After two years of fighting and violence, each mourns family members. Hundreds of thousands of families have lost everything and now live in tents. And the promised humanitarian aid is only trickling in. Others, like Fadel, have managed to escape to Europe. Their lives are punctuated by daily conversations with their Palestinian relatives who remained behind. On the other side of the wall, the Israeli Orthodox settlers of Nachala, led by Daniella Weiss, are waiting to be able to settle on the Palestinian land conquered by force. For all of them, the October 9th peace agreement is certainly a historic moment, but a bittersweet one. Gazans primarily celebrate having survived the horror, while Israelis still bear the indelible mark of the October 7th trauma.
