Rather than treating open space as residual, the project places it at the center of the architectural strategy. The courtyard operates as a climatic and social core, bringing light, air, and seasonal change into the heart of the home. The surrounding verandah acts as a thermal buffer and transitional threshold, reducing heat gain while creating usable semi-open living zones throughout the day.
