The death of James and Lily Potter is one of the most important moments in Harry Potter — it sets the entire story in motion. But when you really think about it, there are a lot of plot holes. Why didn’t they just make themselves Secret Keepers? Why trust Peter Pettigrew of all people? And how did Wormtail even end up with Voldemort’s wand later on? In this video, I rewrite how the Potters’ deaths should have happened — fixing plot holes, tightening the logic, and making it even more tragic.
