The Hosomi Museum of Art in Kyoto's vast collection, often referred to as a "textbook of Japanese art," is home to numerous masterpieces. This exhibition explores the story of the Hosomi family's collection spanning three generations, focusing on lustrous, golden Buddhist crafts, the Ashiya kiln, a Kyushu-based art form renowned for its ironwork, and paintings by Ito Jakuchu and the Rinpa school.
