One of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard, and one of the most incomprehensibly unknown - something like Israel's answer to Vaughan Williams' "The lark ascending". "Yizkor (יזכור)" for violin and orchestra op. 32 (1942) Shimon Mishori - Kol Israel Orchestra (today's Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra), conducted by Shalom Ronly-Riklis recorded some time around 1965
