Irish Crochet Rose Tutorial

Learn how to Irish Crochet and make this rose motif in less than an hour! This easy Irish rose is great for advanced-beginners, intermediate, and advanced crocheters and can be completed in 45 minutes or less. Traditional Irish crochet is created using cotton thread (size 10, 70, or 100) and hook size 1.65 mm or smaller, but in this demonstration, we use a worsted cotton yarn, medium weight with a size E hook. Materials you'll need: One skein of yarn Crochet Hook Scissors Tapestry needle This motif can be modified to be smaller or larger simply by decreasing or increasing the number of petal layers.
