Hug Your Dogs Close Tonight 💔 Memphis's Diagnosis

This Video was filmed on May 30, 2026. We want to share these videos, even though Memphis is now gone. We still want you to see the hope we had, and the AMAZING last week Memphis had! Today started like any other busy day getting ready for our upcoming camping trip, but it ended with a phone call that changed everything. While working on the RV and blowing out Kira's coat, our vet Dr. Ryan called with Memphis’s biopsy results. Memphis has liver cancer, specifically a hepatic cell carcinoma. It was definitely a shock to hear that word, but we actually received some good news with the bad: it is operable, and she is a great candidate for surgery! We are still processing the news, but we are remaining insanely happy and positive because this type of tumor can pretty much be cured by surgery alone, no chemo or radiation needed. First thing Monday morning, we will be calling the surgical center in Flint, Michigan, to schedule her CT scan and get this process started. We are still heading out on our camping trip for a few days since it’s only three hours away, and we know the cool weather will be perfect for the girls to relax. We want to protect Memphis at all costs, and we are so incredibly grateful for this community.
