Selim is forced to care for his younger brother, Mehmet, who is unexpectedly brought to him by his aunt one day. Already struggling to make ends meet, Selim's life is turned upside down when Mehmet's constant itching and weakness lead them to see a doctor. After tests, Mehmet is diagnosed with leukemia. This news marks the beginning of a difficult struggle for the two brothers. Taking on a great responsibility to keep his brother alive, Selim gets a regular job with insurance. Working day and night, the young man struggles with financial difficulties while trying to cover Mehmet's treatment costs. However, the progression of the disease and the lack of insurance coverage plunge Selim into increasing despair. The growing financial pressures confront Selim with the most difficult test of his life. A theft at his workplace forces him to choose between his conscience and his helplessness. He faces a difficult test: maintaining his honesty and saving his brother. In the story's finale, Selim's good intentions, honesty, and boundless love for his brother are not in vain. A kind employer he encounters covers Mehmet's medical expenses, giving hope to the two brothers. As Mehmet takes a significant step towards recovery, Selim keeps his promise and gifts his brother the bicycle he dreamed of.
