An Introduction to Praying with Anglican Prayer Beads and Song
The Rev. Sylvia Miller-Mutia shares a brief introduction to a prayer practice using Anglican prayer beads and songs. We begin with a 3 minute orientation to Anglican prayer beads. Then we pray around the circle of beads together once, using three songs: Come Pray with Us (Hamba Nathi), Know that God is Good (Mungu mi mwema), and Redeem Me (Original, Leah Cole.) This cycle of songs could be used at any time, especially during the season of Lent, or when praying for God's help.
