This is the heartbreaking testimony of a young Venezuelan volunteer, Maikel La Rosa, one of the many young people who, in the absence of organized aid or professional rescue teams, are lending a hand, working for two days and nights on the rubble of La Guaira, trying to find people still alive. He recounts the gruesome discovery, distraught and in tears. "It hurts just to think about it: we've been working here for hours. And the bodies we're recovering, we discovered, are all from a children's party. It hurts so much and I want to cry, really. You can't imagine. It was a children's party when the building collapsed.
