NS 8101 West, The "Central of Georgia" Heritage Engine on 1-29-2014
The Norfolk Southern GE ES44AC honoring the Central of Georgia Railway is on the point of an empty crude oil train on the BNSF Aurora subdivision. The train, UNSDTND008T, I believe, was enroute to the oil fields of North Dakota. I've been in a Heritage engine drought lately. So despite the cold, I made an effort to catch it. I think these engines look their best in the sunshine and that was available in abundance.
