Putting My Parents in a Car With No Steering Wheel
I took my parents on their first Zoox ride in Las Vegas. The Zoox is a bit different from other robotaxis they might have seen. No steering wheel, no pedals, and bench seats where you sit facing each other instead of looking forward. They weren’t quite sure what to make of it at first. Watching them settle in once the car pulled away was the part I’ll remember. If your parents or anyone in your family has ridden a Zoox, I’m curious how they took to it. It’s a strange thing to explain until you’re actually sitting in one.
