Yes, this is a 40-minute "Educator". I've been wanting to touch on the topic of extreme processors, specifically HEDT, for a while now. Intel has the X-series, and AMD has the Ryzen Threadripper. There's also the EE series, of course, but it's an outdated line. In particular, I really wanted to touch on the socket itself, the ever-present LGA2066. Many people don't really understand what the 2066 and TR4 are, and as a result, they build gaming systems based on these platforms when it would be much more practical to go with the 1151 or AM4. And then there are those who, on the other hand, choose the 1151 over the 2066 for work. So, this video was made to make sure everyone understands what extreme processors are and why they're needed.
