Indian Clubs: The Mill Pattern | Empowered Strength ft. John Odden.
After you've spent a little bit of time familiarizing yourself with the clubs you'll be using, it's time to learn the first basic pattern: The Mill. Like many other Indian Club movements, this one can be done in both directions and with multiple clubs. But, as with all things, spend the time becoming fully confident with this movement before trying to add speed, weight, or complexity. John Odden, owner of Empowered Strength in Bend, OR and world record holder in the Highland Games, finds tons of value in working with the clubs through these patterns.
