Nil Khasevych is an artist, graphic artist, “art director” of the OUN and UPA. A man who was able to turn art into a weapon. He could have practiced art in workshops, exhibited his works in prestigious galleries around the world, and led a quiet life. But Khasevych chose a much more difficult path — the path of fighting for Ukraine. His engravings told the world about life in occupied Ukraine, inspired Ukrainians to resist, and helped to economically support the insurgent army. And all this was created in hiding places, without normal lighting and with a constant lack of resources. Who really is Nil Khasevych?
