After losing my job, working at Geek Squad, and spending months trying to get back into the tech field, in 2019 I finally got an opportunity in Pittsburgh. In this video, I recount what it was like moving to the city shortly before the pandemic, sharing an apartment with a friend, dealing with car accidents, working remotely during lockdown, adopting my cat, changing jobs to return to working as a DBA, and experiencing a phase full of changes, travel, relationships, and new beginnings. This was one of the strangest and most transformative times of my life in the United States.
