North Buton - The Kambowa Sub-sector Police personnel from the Bonegunu Sector Police, North Buton Police, once again demonstrated their concern and presence in the community. They helped clear the blockade on the Ereke-Baubau Main Road in Pongkowulu Village, Kambowa District, on Wednesday (June 10, 2026). The activity was led by Acting Kambowa Sub-sector Police Chief, Aipda La Guli, along with Kambowa Sub-sector Police personnel who went to the location to help the community clear the road blockade, which had been established to convey their concerns regarding the damaged road. During the activity, Kambowa Sub-sector Police personnel and local residents worked together to clear the material used to block the road. They enthusiastically helped remove coconut tree trunks that were lying across the road, while other personnel, along with residents, removed piles of sand placed in the middle of the road. Thanks to the cooperation and togetherness between the National Police and the community, the Ereke-Baubau Main Road has been reopened and is now passable to road users after being blocked for approximately one week. This activity demonstrates the National Police's presence in providing services, protection, and assistance to the community, while also ensuring the smooth flow of activities for those affected by the road closure.
