The PBY Catalina was the most produced seaplane in the world and during ww2. 4,051 Catalina’s were produced with only 350 being shot down, they survived after the war being transformed into firefighting aircraft’s and flying yachts. Only 6-10 PBY Catalina’s can still fly while roughly 100 still exist.
