She has likely missed her period by this point. Possibly even felt the quickening. She suspects but she suspects she is pregnant. 1:45:19 - Jenny is exhausted and "slept like she hadn't slept in years" Her body is past the initial morning sickness and she is exhausted from growing a baby. She knows she is pregnant at this time but she hasn't slept with Forest so she has to convince him the baby is his. It's the happiest time of Forest's life assuming Jenny stays for at least 30 days 1:48:46 - Forest asks Jenny to marry him. On July 4th 1976, the bicentennial "largest fireworks display" (according to the tv announcer) Jenny responds that he wouldn't want to marry her. She hasn't slept with him yet and she is afraid that he will find out he is not the father because she is about to start showing. 1:50:28 - Forest is surprised that Jenny has come to his bed (they still haven't slept together at this point) she finally sleeps with him and leaves to seal the narrative. 1:57:44 - 3 years 2 months 14 day and 16 hours later Forest stops running (approximately September 20, 1979) 1:59:01 - March 30, 1981 assassination attempt on Regan. Forest gets letter from Jenny that just arrived. 2:09:54 - Jenny died March 22, 1982 less than a year after she contacted Forest about her son. Who was smartest in his class. Meaning he had to be in at least 1st grade. Putting him at 6 years old in 1980 when he would have started the school year, they likely waited for summer to move so he could finish school and he's at least in 3rd grade in September/August of 1982 placing him at around 8 years old. This places the typical earliest birthday for Jenny's son around September 1974 say he started school a year early September of 1975 Let's give Jenny the biggest benefit of the doubt she had the money to send him to kindergarten in 1980 and he started a year early. Early birthday of September of 1976 not enough time for a viable baby with Forest He is not Forest's biological son. By at least 4 months. Possibly 2 years. Go Do Hard Things!
