The interior could not be missing an M Steering Wheel. I went on an M5 E39 Facelift steering wheel. I bought it in excellent condition, freshly reupholstered in an OEM look. Black leather with black stitching. You're probably wondering why I didn't go on a custom beveled steering wheel with other crazy things. I for one am not attracted to such an aggressive square model for a car from 2001. That is, an older/classic model. The M5 e39 facelist steering wheel is the best version.. There is also the Non-facelist one but it is older. Okay, anyway I couldn't resist and did the central ornament in glossy black T980 and Mipa CC9 overcoat. To remove impurities from the varnish and get a perfect piece, I sanded the varnish with p1000, p 1500, p2000 and p3000. Then I started with the polish: Step 1 - Cutting pad (Cut & finish RUPES) + Menzerna 400 Compound Step 2 - Rupes Fine polishing pad + Menzerna 2500 Medium cut polish Step 3 - Ultra-Fine polishing pad + Menzerna 3800 Super finish plus And I applied this to the interior ornaments as well, the ones I painted in glossy black + wood insert.
