We are coming back to our homeland, because Poland is beautiful too! For a long weekend in June we went to the lake, and more specifically to Ślesin. Peace and quiet, nature - what more could you want when you run away from the city for a while? In total, we did not sleep in Ślesin, but on the lake of the same name in the small town of Witalisów. You can practice various water sports, sail, take advantage of the city beach, go fishing, or relax! In close vicinity of Ślesin there is Licheń, and in total Stary Licheń with the enormous Basilica of Saint Mary of Licheń. ⛪ The wealth of the temple is overwhelming. 😯 Driving here you can see the 141 meter tower from afar, on which there are two observation terraces - the upper one at 130 m height and the lower one at 120 m height. It is the second most famous pilgrimage place in Poland. Being in the area we could not resist to get here and fly Morgan, which is our drone! Simply Poland for a vacation.
