Stone Barn Renovation on an Off-Grid Farm in Central Portugal - Time to Dig

As we wait for the electrical system components to arrive we start to dig and level the ground around the lower barn. Stone and roots don't make our life easy, but it needs to happen! Our neighbour farmer arrives to do the first plough on the remaining fields and we start to break up the concrete inside the lower barn.
