please let me talk about The Vision of Escaflowne

I'm returning to my roots of yapping while cooking. It's almost like I'm back in my :simmyPODCAST: era but with way more editing. I do not like editing. Anyway, these are my (mostly) unfiltered rambles of my thoughts on The Vision of Escaflowne, an anime that is old and very good. The video on magic systems I mentioned:    • Hard Worldbuilding vs. Soft Worldbuilding ...   Anilist: anilist.co/user/Spjoti Worlds Vaguest Recipe: Caulis Flower: 1 head of cauliflower spritz of oil salt and pepper Wild Rice: 1 box of Uncle Ben's Wild Rice a dab of butter 2 1/4 cups chicken broth (I usually end up adding a splash more as it cooks) Pork Piccata (Complete Blasphemy): 4 pork cutlets (or chicken go nuts) flour (mine's gluten free) butter (mine's dairy free) salt and pepper to taste 1/3ish cup of freshly squeezed lemon 1/2 cup of chicken stock some capers (yum) Instructions: Preheat the oven to 450 degrees freedom and cook the cauliflower (cut into florrets) for about 40ish minutes or as long as it takes to do the rest of it. probably shake it a few times. For the rice I just follow the box instructions and packet of spices but with the flair of a dab of butter and chicken stock instead of water. Yippee. I start it about 10 minutes after the cauliflower goes in the oven. The pork cutlets get cubed and dusted in flour/salt/pepper and then get fried in butter until crisp. Remove the pork and make a small bit of roux in the same pan before adding the lemon juice/chicken stock/capers to the pan and mix as it comes to temperature. Hopefully, it thickens. Add the meat back in and make sure everything is coated and warm. Eat two helpings and feel a little bad about it.
