How To/How I :: Pattern Hacking and Border Print Basics :: How To Get The Most Out Of Your Fabric

Hey Peeps! This is basically pattern hacking 101, the most simple hack you can do is take a bodice (or a skirt for that matter) and "smoosh" it on to something else for a different look. Once your bodice is made up measure the waistline to see if it will fit on to whatever skirt/trouser option you want to combine it with. You may need to do some tweaking to get everything to fit but thats the fun part 😊. I've used this bodice MANY times now (I know, I know......another Anna bodice!) but I love how it looks and it's a great blank canvas to show off an interesting print. This is the most basic way of using a border print but it is really effective. Over the next few months I'll be showing you different ways of cutting your border prints for different end results.
