Over 2 crore Indians invest with Zerodha. Open a free demat account → https://zerodha.com/open-account/?c=A... Every year millions of students sit for the IIT JEE exam to get into their Dream Engineering Colleges, but the selection ratio in Tier 1 institutes is as low as 1%. To full fill this one dream an aspirant goes through a number of challenges , enrolling in a dummy school, giving up hobbies, moving away from friends and following schedules that leave no room to breathe and facing a high pressure competitive environment, the student is subjected to all of this at a very young age! The challenges with engineering education in India continue till college education too, students face being judged by which college tier they belong to, being pushed into branches purely for the package and spending four years in colleges that might not even give them the employable skills. Maybe the path to success is not what has been told to all of us for years maybe it lies in figuring out what we genuinely love and having the courage to get really good at it.
