Yamaha RD400 Basket Case Restoration

Bit of a video I've put together of the 1977 RD400D basket case restoration I'm part way through. Not one for the nut and bolt fanatics. With the amount of new/replacement parts that had to be sourced, I didn't feel it was the bike to go down the 100% authentic route. Besides the frame/engine cases, not a great deal of the original bike survives. Worrying about whether the correct nut & bolt colours takes the fun out of it for me anyway. I've used genuine Yamaha parts where possible but I'm happy to also use good quality aftermarket items also.
