FENDER HOTROD DELUXE MOD - Get More Headroom!

I love my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. Not only for its shimmering clean tones but also because of its warm crunch when it breaks. On the other hand, I always wondered how to have a more responsive volume knob on lower volumes. I found a solution online and decided to share it with you. In this MOD, we're going to substitute the 12AX7 tube from the gain stage with a 12AT7 (or ECC81) valve.
