In life, there are many things we need to learn to detach from, whether in daily life, work, or even on a family level. Getting too engrossed in gaming, neglecting sleep and meals; being too immersed in watching a movie, not even finishing it without shedding tears; enjoying work so much that you continue into the late hours after your shift; painfully detaching from a relationship after a breakup; experiencing the separation of life and death, and more. To detach or not to detach, there may be no right or wrong, but how can one make oneself comfortable? What experiences of not being able to detach have you had?
