Perfume - Plini (Drum Cover)

The first thing that grabbed my attention when I heard this piece was the displaced hi-hat rhythm. That, combined with the bass drum and the ghost notes on the snare, creates such a cool groove which sounds busy, but leaves plenty of space for the other instruments to come through. Due to the consistent accented offbeats, I needed to focus on coordination and limb independence to help me lock in with the bass in a relaxed and controlled manner.
