Read Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah Al-Imran, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection as if they were a cloud or two clouds. Or as if they were two flocks of birds arguing on behalf of their families. Then he said: Read Surah Al-Baqarah, for it is a blessing to hold on to, and a pity to let go of. Indeed, the cow has become doubtful to us. And indeed, we will be guided, if Allah wills." "He said, "Indeed, he says, 'It will be a cow that has not been used for tilling the land or watering the fields, sound and free from any defect.'" They said, "Now you have brought the truth." So they slaughtered it, but they were not going to do so." "And remember when you killed a person, then blamed each other for it, and Allah brought to light what you were hiding." "Then I said, 'Strike him with some of it. Thus does Allah bring the dead to life. And He shows you His signs, that you may understand." Surah Al-Baqarah is named by this name because it contains the story of the cow of the Children of Israel and it indicates the need to hasten to implement the law of Allah, as it happened to the Jews.
