Hervé Even was a young carpenter who made coffins. He loved his work, lived happily in the corner of Moselle where he was born, and enjoyed a perfect life with his wife, Michèle. In early spring 1991, this world collapsed. The carpenter found himself accused of the brutal murder of his wife. He denied it. But from then on, suspicion would relentlessly cling to him. The investigators, and then gradually his in-laws, would point the finger at him as a possible culprit.
