Welcome to Part 1 of our Côte d’Azur tour along the stunning Mimosa Route! From Nice via Hyères to Bormes-les-Mimosas – we begin in the South of France with sunshine, vibrant colors, sea views, and plenty of surprises. 🌍 Day 1 – Flight to Nice & Carnival Evening Our adventure begins with a flight from Hamburg to Nice – but without our luggage, as it unfortunately didn't arrive. After checking into the hotel, we continue in high spirits: We explore Nice in the evening, experience the colorful Carnival, and enjoy a breathtaking sunset on the Promenade des Anglais. A perfect start despite a minor hiccup. 🚗 Day 2 – Pick up the car, find the suitcases & on to Hyères The next morning, we pick up our rental car – and of course, the big question: Are the suitcases finally here? Afterward, our route takes us to Hyères, where we visit an impressive old ruin. Then we continue on to Le Lavandou, where another fantastic sunset awaits us. 🌼 Day 3 – Start on the Mimosa Route Today begins what is probably the most beautiful section: the Mimosa Route, one of the most famous panoramic roads in southern France. We start in Bormes-les-Mimosas, stroll through the picturesque town, and climb up to the Notre Dame de Constance chapel – with a breathtaking view over the Mediterranean. Afterward, we visit a mimosa nursery: colors, fragrances, variety – simply beautiful. Those who wish can even buy mimosas there.
