The Limitless Love of God - Matthew 24:10–14

In this message, Pastor Vincent reflects on his upcoming sabbatical and shifts the congregation’s attention to what Jesus calls the greatest commandment: to love God and to love others. Rooted in Matthew 22 and 1 Thessalonians 3, he teaches that the Christian life requires an ever-increasing capacity to love, especially in a world filled with cultural tension, personal hardship and the temptation for our love to grow cold. He reminds us that God’s limitless love is not only commanded but essential for navigating the challenges of daily life. He calls believers to experience God’s limitless love, not merely agree with it intellectually. We receive this love through believing, receiving and practicing it. Pastor Vincent asks us to identify personal fears and then what we would do if God’s perfect love fully cast out that fear. He reminds us that limitless love is both received and given, and that when believers choose love over fear, God empowers them to bless others and reflect Christ in the world.
