Then, a BO3 duel takes place (siding included). Each episode you only get access to the cards in the most recent set/product, and cannot use cards from earlier product. NEW RULE SINCE EP 10: If a card is DIRECTLY mentioned by name in another card's text in the set, that card is then allowed to be played that episode. NEW RULE SINCE EP 18: Polymerization is ALWAYS allowed to be played, even if it isn't directly mentioned or included in the set. SINCE EP 32: Side sets (like tournament packs) are only allowed to be played in your side deck, not in main. LEGACY ARCHETYPE RULE SINCE EP 37: Legacy archetypes are allowed to be played in sets where they get new support, BUT 50% of main deck must be cards from the new set and obviously have to have some cards that are new to the archetype you are playing in that set. SINCE EP 44: Special edition cards are now also included as legal cards to be played in each set. SINCE EP 58: Plaguespreader Zombie is ALWAYS allowed to be played. SINCE EP 67: Mystical Space Typhoon is ALWAYS allowed to be played to ensure spelltrap removal. SINCE EP 70: Names just now give us archetypes, even with stuff that traditionally isn't. Example; with this rule, 'From the Underworld' now qualifies as an archetype (this used to exclude subtypes, until ep 134). SINCE EP 87: Archetypes are now FULLY supported in the episodes where we get access to them, even if it isn't in the name directly (example: if we have access to Stardust, we also have access to Quasar, if we have access to Synchrons, we also have access to Tuning). SINCE EP 96: Terraforming is ALWAYS allowed to be played in order to facilitate field spell-reliant archetypes. SINCE EP 114: Handtraps now generic pool but limited to two unique ones per deck and Maxx C is banned. SINCE EP 118: All 6 original attribute links (Wee Witch's Apprentice, Missus Radiant, Duelittle Chimera, Hip Hoshiningen, Mistar Boy & Greatfly) are generic and always available. SINCE EP 125: Knightmare Phoenix, Cerberus and Unicorn join the generic card pool. SINCE EP 134: Every type now counts as an archetype as well (dragons, zombies, etc.) and dragon in name counts for support cards as well. This ONLY includes support cards and cards that have (example zombie) the right type in their name, so adding one random zombie card into your deck doesn't always immediately give you access to Ash Blossom through legacy support every time, since it is a card that is a zombie, not a zombie support card. Additionally, with ROTA now always available for warrior decks, it joins Called by the Grave on the limited list, but unlike CB, isn't generic (although obviously very easy to get). SINCE EP 135: From this episode onwards, we are playing under master rule5. SINCE EP 137: Structure episodes now have the extra deck freed, as long as you have at least 1 of each copy of the cards included in the structure, meaning you get to play ANY extra deck monsters released up until that point in addition to the mandatory inclusions. EP 142: Most floodgates are now banned EP 145: Monster Reborn and Foolish Burial added to the generic pool at 1 copy each, Terraforming now also limited to 1 EP 150: Engage is now limited to 1 and you can now also run Twin Twisters instead of MST, if you'd like Jeexx talks about and streams card games, and is live every Sunday: / jeexx My Twitch: / weebfox My Twitter: / weebfox Intro background music: Lonesome Wind by Takanori Arima (Dragon Ball Z Budōkai Tenkaichi 2) I do not own or stake any claim to any of the music used, all rights belong to their respective owners.
