Transforme sobras da cozinha em adubo com esta COMPOSTEIRA FÁCIL

Today is the day to create a compost bin to use kitchen scraps. Our gardener Carol Costa talks to her friend Juliana Valentini and approves the idea of creating a compost bin directly on the ground, where vegetable peels and trimmings can be used without having to shred them. The construction is very simple, you only need six broom handles, chicken wire and some nylon clamps. Since the decomposition of organic matter requires moisture, choose a part of the yard that has shade; strong sunlight does not help in this case. Mark out two 50-centimeter squares and stick the broom handles in each of the ends, attach the wire in such a way that it creates two "fences" - one of them will be for storing fruit and vegetable peels and scraps, and the other, for storing dry organic matter. It is much easier to always have the straw and dry leaf compartment on hand, because each time you use the space for the scraps, you must use dry organic matter to cover the wet one. This vegetable cover is called mulch. Always remember to use this ratio: one part kitchen scraps to two parts dry organic matter. Throw a bucket of fruit peels and two buckets of dry leaves on top. It's super easy, you can see when the humus starts to form, and because it's well-ventilated, this composter doesn't attract flies or bad smells. The soil absorbs excess moisture and when you need to use it, just remove the top of the composter and use the black soil that's underneath. It couldn't be more organic, practical and simple.
