Amelia Island Fishing with Shallow Strikes | Surprise Keeper Flounder at the Ramp

I teamed up with Matthew from Shallow Strikes for an epic day of inshore fishing around Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, Black Rock, Egan’s Creek, and Ft. Clinch—and the day started in the most unexpected way. Before we even left the Fernandina Beach Harbor Marina boat ramp, I landed TWO keeper flounder practically at the dock! From there we explored some of Northeast Florida’s best shallow-water fishing spots, making long runs across the flats and chasing fish through Black Rock and Egan’s Creek. For this trip I relied primarily on the DieZel MinnowZ™ 4” in New Penny and the Z-Man PrawnstarZ, both of which put fish in the boat.
