Historische vliegtuigen landen in Eelde

EELDE - The historic aircraft show at Eelde Airport was unfortunately hampered by the bad weather on Sunday. The few visitors who braved the rain were able to view the inside of several aircraft, and some even took a sightseeing flight for enthusiasts. However, the rain proved to be a spoilsport. The flight schedule had to be changed, and several open-top aircraft were unable to fly. The event marks the start of an "Airtour," in which vintage aircraft visit various airports in the Netherlands in July and August. This is in honor of the centennial of Dutch aviation.
