Places to visit in Switzerland - Simplon Pass Switzerland

There are so many places to visit in Switzerland. And some are somehow a little bit hidden or just far away from everything. The Simplon Pass in Switzerland is located in the Canton Wallis and is an important connection to Italy. We were looking for a place where we could celebrate New Year's Eve in peace. The numerous fireworks make Rasta more and more nervous as he gets older, so we looked around for a quiet place. On the Simplon Pass we heard some fireworks twice and then it was quiet. Rasta had no stress and we were able to slide into the new year in peace. The stone eagle on the Simplon Pass is impressive.
